Hij heeft voor de nieuwste spot van Gucci, 20.000 valse bloemen laten maken om zijn gewenste effect te verkrijgen, ook heeft hij persoonlijk ”I feel Love” van Donna Summers herbewerkt hiervoor.

Door met de wagen heen en weer te gaan naar Frankrijk laat zeker zijn sporen na, vooral als het goed weer is.
Gevoelige kijkers kunnen beter wegkijken.

Eyescapes is a series by Rankin, an incredible photographer that has represented a vast array of subjects. In Eyescapes Rankin photographed people’s eyes up close and then created a series of round photographic prints that show the iris exposed and enlarged. The final output is absolutely mesmerizing.

Monitoring and Visualizing Last.fm

Which artists are a “one-hit wonder” and which artists have a constant fan-community? Are Radiohead supporters more receptive to different music trends than hip-hop artist Nelly’s fans? Where do certain music genres cumulate and where is a recently launched album heard first?In order to answer these and other questions, Christopher Adjei and Nils Holland-Cunz have observed and analyzed the growing music social network service Last.fm over a period of four months. The results from their observations were presented in a set of striking visualizations made in Processing, and divided in four parts: Comparing fan-groups, Fluctuation of fans, Album-Release, and Cumulation of genres.

The first image shows the fluctuation of fans of Icelandic singer Bjork, while the second represents the cumulation of the “Metal” genre across Europe.

ComplexCity

The Complexcity project explores major cities around the world focussing on how their urban sprawls have evolved over time. Using the patterns formed by roads in each city, Korean born designer Lee Jang Sub creates complex graphic configurations, combining the idea of natural and man made systems. In the process he finds a concealed aesthetic within the convoluted pattern of urban networks. He started with his hometown Seoul, and has already completed Paris, Rome, and Moscow. The first image illustrates the intricate urban pattern of Moscow, while the second is representative of Paris.
